Erin Nations
At age eight, Erin acquired an early interest in art, primarily in animation and illustration. Influenced by childhood cartoons, her work depicts youthful imagery but her subject matter ventures beyond issues associated with youth. Her stylized characters cope with heartbreak, yearn for desires that cannot be fulfilled, fall in love and dwell in solitude. They exhibit the experiences and everyday occurrences we encounter in life.
Born in St. Louis but raised everywhere, Erin now resides in Portland. She enjoys drawing, making mix CDs for friends and loved ones, working on art projects, and dreams of one day owning a big porch accompanied with a feline companion.
